AT&T will purchase Edge Wireless

AT&T who already owns a minority interest in Edge Wireless LLC., announced today they will acquire the remaining 64.3 percent stake in to complete the transfer of ownership. If the deal meets regulatory approval, AT&T will gain over 172,000 subscribers plus extend its reach into several markets in the Pacific Northwest.

AT&T hopes to complete the transaction by mid-2008.
