HTC Desire HD and Desire Z (G2?) specs unveiled

HTC's Desire HD and Vision/G2 are two hotly anticipated Android devices, and thanks to an online British retailer, we now have access to the specs for both devices. First up we have the Desire HD, which will hit with a 4.3-inch screen, 1 GHZ processor, 8 megapixel camera capable of recording 720p video, and 4 GB of internal storage. Next is the Desire Z, which we know as the Vision and will likely become the G2, T-Mobile's first HSPA+ device. The Desire Z is toting a 3.7-inch touchscreen with a 480x800 resolution, 1 GHz chip, a physical QWERTY keyboard, WiFi, and Android 2.1.
Both devices sound pretty hot, but I'm especially looking forward to the Vision/Desire Z. The fact that it looks like an HTC Desire with the Touch Pro 2's keyboard bolted on makes the device simply fantastic. If it does end up becoming T-Mobile's HSPA+ handset, that could make it one of the best phones in recent memory. If you'll remember, HTC is hosting an event next month on September 15th, so hopefully all is revealed then.
