Just when you thought that there was nothing left to leak about the Samsung Fascinate headed to Verizon, along comes another nugget of information. We know that pre-orders for the Fascinate begin tomorrow at Best Buy and that the actual launch is going to be September 9th, and now we've got the full equipment guide available for your perusal. There's nothing too shocking on the guide considering that we've already seen a Galaxy S phone launch on two other carriers (with Sprint's coming in a few short days). The one thing that does stick out, however, is that the Fascinate's release date is listed as 9/8/2010 here, a full day earlier than we previously heard. The likely explanation is that this guide or the leaked screen we saw was outdated, but either way, it's only a difference of one day.
There are definitely a lot of high-end Android phones available on Verizon, but I have a feeling that the Fascinate will be able to hold its own. With its 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, 5 megapixel camera with 720p video capture, and 16 GB microSD card pre-installed, it fills in the previously empty middle ground between the 3.7-inch DROID 2 and DROID Incredible and the 4.3-inch DROID X. How do you think the Fascinate will fare in Verizon's ever-growing Android lineup?
