Rumor: myTouch HD launching on T-Mobile on November 3rd

T-Mobile's newest myTouch handset, the myTouch HD, has been had its fair share of leaks since we first saw it back at the end of July. What hasn't been leaked, though, is the most important piece of information about any phone: the release date. That changes today, as a "trusted tipster" has told TmoNews that we can expect the myTouch HD, aka "Emerald," to launch on November 3rd. This bit of news lines up nicely with a leaked T-Mobile roadmap that we saw way back at the beginning of July which had an HTC device named "Emerald," although it pegged the release date at November 5th.
A November 3rd launch sounds just right for T-Mobile and the myTouch HD, even though the roadmap said November 5th. As blurry as that leaked roadmap is, it's tough to tell whether it says 11/3 or 11/5, but the TmoNews' source said November 3rd, so that's what we're going to stick with. With T-Mobile's G2 coming out on September 29th, it might be tough to ignore the allure of a QWERTY keyboard and HSPA+ speeds until the beginning of November for the myTouch HD. I have a feeling that if you have enough dedication and cover your eyes and ears tightly enough, you can do it.
