T-Mobile G2 lands in T-Mobile store, stars in extensive photo shoot

It's been pretty quiet on the T-Mobile G2 news front for a few days now, but today we've got something to bring the G2 back to the front of your mind. Our friends over at TmoNews have gotten their hands on a batch of photos of the G2 hanging out at a T-Mobile retail store. In the photos we get a tour of the G2's retail packaging, accessories, and a multitude of shots showing the G2 powered on and resting (un)comfortably next to a Samsung Vibrant. You can practically cut the tension with the knife! For the full gallery of photos, hit up the source link down below.
These photos of the G2 in the wild look great, and considering we're only a little over a week away from the device's launch, I'm glad they've leaked out to help quench my G2 thirst until launch. While many users are disappointed that the G2's screen is only 3.7 inches, I think it looks great sitting next to the 4-inch Vibrant. When you factor in the slide out QWERTY keyboard, which looks awesome, and the speedy HSPA+ abilities, the G2 has the potential to be one of the biggest Android handsets ever. My only complaint? I can't unlock it for use on AT&T's 3G connection. Make it happen, Google/HTC!
