Samsung Unpacked

Thanks to Samsung's own JK Shin, we already know that the company has dual-core smartphones planned for Mobile World Congress next month. Samsung still needs to build up the hype, though, and that's just what they're doing with the "Evolution is Fate" teaser on their own Samsung Unpacked website. Alongside the straight-up, unlocked Galaxy S (which does have Froyo), Samsung is hinting that they'll reveal at least one new product on February 13th, although they also have another teaser planned for February 1st to help keep the hype machine running.

So just what does Sammy have on tap for February 13th? The mysterious Galaxy S2 seems like a pretty good bet, especially since it's been rumored to sport a dual-core processor and Gingerbread. If you're concerned that there won't be any U.S.-focused info from Samsung at MWC, though, don't fret. The company has promised that there will be an event at the conference specifically tailored to the U.S. Perhaps we'll finally hear more about the Galaxy S Froyo updates?
