HTC DROID Incredible 2 shows up in Verizon's systems, inches closer toward releaseAlex Wagner - Editorial Director of News and Content
Just a couple of days ago, we saw a newly-leaked Sears document claim that Verizon will be launching the HTC DROID Incredible 2 on April 21st. That date is still very much a rumor at this point, but today we got some evidence that shows that Verizon is gearing up to release the DInc 2 at some point soon. As you can see above, the handset has made its way into Big Red's internal systems. Some of the Incredible 2's specs have also been confirmed thanks to this leak, like the fact that it'll be a global phone and will come with a 16GB microSD card pre-installed. Additionally, the device will come with a feature called Sync & Connect, which "will provivde multiple e-mail and address books in one place" as well as mobile hotspot functionality.
If the Incredible 2 does indeed launch on the 21st, expect an announcement from Verizon a few days beforehand. In the mean time, you can watch our fearless leader Aaron Baker give the Incredible S (the European version of the Incredible 2) the hands-on treatment below.
