Hey Motorola XOOM owners, how would you like to be updated to Android 3.2? If a comment on issue number 16992 in the Android Open Source Project is to be believed, that's exactly what you'll soon be getting. Issue 16992 has to do with a problem with Exchange support on the XOOM after the 3.1 update and, after discussing the bug a bit, a Google employee commented and said that an update to 3.2 should be here "within days" and will include a fix for those Exchange woes.

Last month a rumor emerged claiming that Android 3.2 to current tablets like the XOOM in the coming weeks, and I'd say that sometime in the next few days would certainly qualify for that timeline. It certainly sounds like 3.2 could be right around the corner, but as we all know by now, release dates for software upgrades and new devices can and do change. We'll continue to keep an eye on the situation and those of you at home can keep hammering on that System Update button in the mean time.
