T-Mobile customers, take notice: the HTC Wildfire S is making its way to your beloved carrier's shelves on Wednesday, August 3rd. Thankfully we don't have to wait that long to get a peek at the Gingerbread-powered handset in the flesh, as our buddies over at TmoNews have been handed some photos of display Wildfire S units that have been making their way into T-Mobile retail stores. There's not really any new information revealed by the images, but we always prefer to see a handset in the flesh plastic rather as opposed to boring old press images. Check out a shot of the Wildfire S lounging around with its big HTC Sensation 4G brother below.
For those that'd like a refresher, your hard-earned $79.99 will get you a Wildfire S that features a 3.2-inch 320x480 display, 600MHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, and Android 2.3.3 running beneath HTC's Sense UI (version 2.1). Not bad for an entry-level handset, no? The bad news here is that we're still a few days away from getting the Wildfire S in our own grubby mitts. The wait continues...
