AT&T BlackBerry Torch 9810 launching on August 21st for $49.99

And the BlackBerry launch news continues! After Verizon announced availability details for its Bold 9930 and Sprint followed with info on its 9930 and Torch 9850, AT&T has passed along launch information on the Torch 9810. According to AT&T's Facebook page, the new BlackBerry 7-powered slider will be hitting the shelves on August 21st — the same date as Sprint's new BlackBerry launches — for $49.99 with a two-year contract.
Although the Torch slider is no longer the only BlackBerry that features a touchscreen/physical QWERTY form factor, the 9810 still looks like a solid choice for AT&T customers interested in picking up one of RIM's new BlackBerry 7 devices. Not only does it feature a larger display than the Bold 9900, it can be slid together to create a smaller footprint. Plus, AT&T has yet to reveal when it's planning to launch the 9900 save for a vague "later this year" window. So if you've got to get your BlackBerry 7 fix on AT&T ASAP, the 9810 will be the way to go.
