HTC: DROID Incredible, ThunderBolt Gingerbread updates coming in September

Good news for all of the HTC DROID Incredible and ThunderBolt owners on Verizon: Gingerbread is on its way. HTC announced on its Twitter account today that both the Incredible and ThunderBolt will be getting updated to Android 2.3 in September. No exact dates for the rollouts were given, but this September time frame is certainly more information than we've had in the past.
Owners of both the DROID Incredible and ThunderBolt have endured quite a bit during their wait for Gingerbread: TBolt users had to go through months of rumored releases that never came to fruition, while DInc-ers were told at one point that they may never see 2.3. Additionally, earlier this month Verizon posted the Incredible's Android 2.3 update details on its site, but then said that the release of the DInc's new software had been delayed. All that matters now, though, is that Gingerbread is nearly here for two of Verizon's biggest Android handsets. Get excited, Incredible and TBolt users!
