Samsung Galaxy Nexus, HTC Rezound Verizon pricing MAP

And the Galaxy Nexus leak train just keeps on rolling. After seeing the device pop up in Verizon's Device Management system last night, both it and the HTC Rezound (aka Vigor) have appeared on the latest version of Big Red's Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) list. As you can see in the image above, the two 4G LTE-enabled smartphones are sporting $299.99 (on-contract) price tags as well as MAP Periods that are kicking off on November 10th.

So does this mean that both the Galaxy Nexus and Rezound will be launching on November 10th? Yes, it is a Thursday and yes, both the Bionic and Rhyme were released on the same dates that their MAP Periods began, but you might want to hold off on turning in that vacation request for just a tad longer. Unofficial dates like these can and often do change, and MAP Period start date ≠ launch date. Still, it's something worth keeping in the back of your mind.

Zach Cline Its pretty decent.
Kartik Anand awesme model good phone i like it.
Zach Cline It's not just you. I paid $450 for my DROID x lol.
David Hilgendorf I'm on a NEW droid x2 and still have much time left till upgrade is available, but I WILL not pass on these devices and if you do the math. When you pay the 600 your already doing better cause you don't extend your contract and easily can sell your current device to cover a piece of it. Also you can leave when your current contract ends if that's what you want and not for another two years. That's just me I guess
Anonymous I am not willing to pay 600.00 full price. I still have more than a year with my X. 300.00 + tax with a new contract is ridiculous. Then if you break your contract yet another 350
David Hilgendorf I'm so ready to grab this Nexus beast. I'm picking up the Razr as well. I love the soon to be great options on that AWESOME VERIZON NETWORK!!!
Thomas Boehnlein I can honestly say Android is very competitive with Apple on the very high end scale. It's no longer just wishful thinking on my part. However, low end crappy Android phones are still crappy. A free phone with a crappy touch screen is not worth your monthly cell bill. I wish there were less Android phones and more care and attention could be put towards those phones that were made. Why put out the Bionic AND the RAZR? Can you imagine if all of the effort went into just one phone? I think companies are spreading themselves too thin. For every phone you put out, you also have to support it. Is this phone good enough that we think it is worth supporting for the next 18 months? They should be asking themselves that. Even on the low end. Is this a good low end phone? And if the phone turns out to be a mess, don't release it. Scrap the project. Don't ruin your name. I really think Apple wanted to put out an iPhone 5. But it wasn't ready. So they didn't. That was the right call. I think the Android userbase would benefit immensely with less phones that have more care put into them at all price ranges. The quality and experience would improve exponentially. There are more than enough players that every company doesn't have to put out so many phones and there would still be enough hardware variety for people looking to buy one.
Rian Kapadia Poor iSheep will cry when this beast cones out
Abram Wenevermet Dennis Another buggy android phone that loses value after 2 weeks..
Bill Gillespie Has everyone forgotten about Amazon.com bestbuy.com and Walmart.com,bet its cheaper there ...just sayin
Gwendlynette Latrice I've been eligible for an upgrade since July because I was waiting on the Galaxy S2 & when VERIZON decided against that phone, I was pissed but so glad they are getting this one! Glad I have my unlimited data grandfathered in & between the discount I will receive & the gift card I received for my old cell phones, I won't have to pay more than $150 for this phone!
Travis Scott Nobles Yeah for Sprint AFTER I see the exact specifications. It'll be between that and the GS II.
Lee Grip Gresham Yes yes YES, waiting is good and I waited. I waited on the Legendary phone for so long then this one caught my eye.... Then I got the Grandpa data!
Ryan DeClue It will be 100 dollars or more less when it comes to sprint
Stephen Michael Bayers All carriers sucks. AT&T should be shut down for their horrible customer service, t-mobile fell off the map for a bit. Sprint is whack and Verizon is ok, not the best but better than all it's competitors.
Dylan Daratt Fuck Verizon enough said
Anonymous I am considering it.. hoping android has gone through some major upgrades to grab my attention.
Sean McCollum Verizon subsidized phones are way to expensive. $199 is the prime price point.
Kenny Nero /\ says the pagan xD
Antonio Pagan Android suck lol
Robert Skeen Hell Yeah!
Nick Naylor it better come to sprint...
King Josef Wtf 300
Ryan Christopher Etzel having a droidx for 2years blows this is the phone i have been waiting 4<3
David Zakrzewski Yes, but NOT on Verizon. If it comes to T-Mo, then yes. If not, then my number 2 choice is the GS2.
Ryan Christopher Etzel i cant wait to get it (:
Marcus Edwards This is a great phone for those who have grandfathered unlimited data. otherwise they should probably go with another carrier. But the 300 dollar price is too much.
Manny Jaurequi Been waiting since Galaxy S2
Chris Rodriguez Hell yes. And good thing my unlimited data is grandfathered in
Daniel Martell We all remember the tiered data right? Doesn't really make it fun to own
