Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Samsung and Google are expected to be taking the wraps off of the Galaxy Nexus and Ice Cream Sandwich at an event tonight in Hong Kong, but as usually seems to be the case with big device launches, a new leak seems to have revealed most of the goods on the new Nexus ahead of the big shindig. The image you see above is thought to have come from Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo, who claims to be launching the Galaxy Nexus next month. On the spec front, the leak suggests we can expect the following features in Samsung and Google's new baby:

  • 4.7-inch 1280x800 Super AMOLED HD display
  • 1.2GHz dual-core processor
  • 5-megapixel camera
  • 1080p HD video capture
  • 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera
  • 1GB RAM
  • 32GB ROM
  • NFC
  • 1,750mAh battery
  • LTE
  • Notification LED
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Obviously most of those specs are ones that have been swirling around the rumor mill for some time now, but we're not going to complain about getting one last good peek at the new Nexus and its feature list ahead of the official unveil. Speaking of the official unveil, the doors to the event will be opening at 9:30 PM ET tonight, so be sure to check back with PhoneDog this evening for all the Nexus-flavored Ice Cream Sandwich goodness you can sink your teeth into.
