BlackBerry Bold 9900 is "coming soon" to AT&T

BlackBerry fans on Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon have been enjoying the Bold 9900/9930 for some time now, but customers on the network that the original Bold called home, AT&T, still haven't gotten a crack at RIM's latest and greatest. AT&T said back at the beginning of August that it'd be launching the 9900 later in 2011 but the carrier has stayed quiet on the device since and frustrated a lot of subscribers in the process. The good news is that AT&T's finally given us an update on its 9900 via its official @ATTDeals Twitter account, saying that the QWERTY/touch combo phone is "coming soon."
AT&T's statement on the Bold 9900 may not be as clear and informative as I'm sure many 'Berry addicts would've liked, but hey, it's better than nothing, right? It's also worth mentioning that the folks over at CrackBerry have heard that the AT&T Bold 9900 and Torch 9860 may both be launching on November 6th, although there's no hard evidence to support that claim just yet. Are any of you AT&T folk that were looking forward to the Bold 9900 still holding out for it? Or did you grow tired of waiting and instead opt for a Torch 9810 or perhaps even jump ship to a different carrier that's already launched the new Bold?
