Motorola DROID

Still rocking an original Motorola DROID? If so, we've got some news tonight that you and your aging Android slider may be interested in. According to an email posted by the folks at Droid-Life, Motorola is hard at work on a "project" for the DROID and its owners. The email was sent to members of Motorola's Feedback Network and with an invitation to fill out a quick enrollment survey. Unfortunately, what it doesn't do is go into any further detail about precisely what the project is.

The very first DROID is a little (ok, a lot) long in the tooth at this point, and it's been a while since we've seen the device get any kind of update. It's not clear whether this project involves a simple bug fix or something bigger, but it's interesting to see Motorola showing the device some love after all this time. We'll be sure to pass along more details as we get them. Until then, don't be afraid to drop your thoughts, opinions, hopes, and dreams for what this project may entail in the comments below.
