Music lovers, take note: today Google sent out invites to an event on Wednesday, November 16th with the title "These Go to Eleven." For the unaware, that's a reference to Nigel Tufnel, lead singer of the band Spinal Tap in the mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap. Outside of that there's no clues given in the invite as to what the focus of the event may be, but the folks at The Verge have been told that Google Music will be the star of the show.
Way back in July we got wind of some some references to a Google Music store that were found by digging around the the Android Market resources, so that's something that we could end up seeing unveiled at the Google gathering. It's likely that we'll also see some other music-related goodies take the stage, but so far exactly what El Goog has planned is still up in the air. We'll pass along the details when we get them, but until then, we're going to go back to listening to our 80's rock and Michael McDonald.
UPDATE: At the bottom of the invite, there's also an image that contains a shot of a building with the T-Mobile logo and a few other potential teases. It's still not clear what Google has up its sleeve, but things are definitely getting interesting. Peep the bottom portion of the invite below.
