AmazonWireless now offering up all AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon phones for one penny

Thinking about braving the crowds this weekend to get a deal on a new smartphone for a loved one or perhaps as a gift for yourself? Amazon's got some deals that you may be interested in, and best of all, you don't even have to leave the house to take advantage of them. Starting today and running through November 28th, AmazonWireless is offering all AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon phones (save for the iPhone) for just one cent with a two-year contract. The deal is open only to customers signing up for a new line of service and also includes free two-day shipping. Customers that opt for a mobile hotspot-capable phone will get an even sweeter deal, as Amazon will give a $100 Amazon gift card to any customer that activates the hotspot feature on their new device. The full list of phones is available here.
Normally it's pretty great to get any kind of phone $0.01, but what's even better is that this promotion offers new handsets like the DROID RAZR, Galaxy S II Skyrocket, Epic 4G Touch, and Focus S all in exchange for something that you probably passed several of while walking on the sidewalk into work or school today. Sounds like a pretty good deal, even if you have to take the risk of picking up one of those bad luck tails-up pennies that you'd normally avoid like the plague. So who's going to pick up a new handset this weekend?
