Remember that T-Mobile all-hands day that we heard about recently? Just as we suspected, it's another sale. Today T-Mobile announced the 4G Super Sale, which will take place on December 17th and 18th and cut the net down payment of all phones and select mobile broadband devices (like the Sonic 4G Hotspot and G-Slate) to $0 with a mail-in rebate and two-year Unlimited Value plan contract. Yep, just like the last two sales, this one's only open to customers willing to sign up for a qualifying Value plan. T-Mobile says that the 4G Super Sale is open to new customers as well as existing ones that are eligible for an upgrade.
It's worth noting that, also like previous sales, customers interested in taking advantage of the 4G Super Sale will need to pay for their new devices in store, but will then get that money back in the form of a mail-in rebate. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S II has a net down payment of $0 after a $200 mail-in rebate. Additionally, there'll be a monthly payment tacked on to your bill for 20 months, the amount of which will vary depending on which device you select (the GSII has a monthly payment of $20). You can find more details on individual devices over at T-Mobile's site.
So there's your next big sale, T-Mobile folk. Although the idea of signing up for a Value plan may not appeal to everyone, folks that don't mind doing so will find some pretty great deals, including the opportunity to get devices like the Galaxy S II, Amaze 4G and Bold 9900 for a net down payment of free. Sure, you might have to wait for a mail-in rebate, but you can just pass the time by thinking about how exciting it'll be once it comes. It'll be like, well, getting a free phone! So any of you T-Mobilers thinking about taking advantage of the 4G Super Sale?
