Earlier this week Sprint took the wraps off of the first two Android handsets that'll run on its upcoming LTE network: the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and the LG Viper 4G LTE. We've already got a pretty good idea of what makes the Galaxy Nexus tick since it'll likely be fairly similar to the LTE model that's already available on Verizon, but the Viper has been a bit more of a mystery since Sprint only revealed a few of its specs. Tonight that mystery's been solved, though, thanks to an internal document that's been leaked to the folks at SprintFeed. Here's what makes the Viper tick:

• 1.2GHz dual-core processor
• 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing shooter
• 720p video capture
• 4GB ROM/512MB RAM
• NFC
• Sprint ID
• 3G/4G LTE connectivity
• 1,700mAh battery
• Android 2.3 Gingerbread

Sounds like a respectable little device, and it could be a good option for folks that want to get in on the Sprint 4G LTE action as early as possible but don't care for the Galaxy Nexus because of its larger display or for another reason. Of course, we still don't know when either the Galaxy Nexus or the Viper will be launching or how much they'll cost when they do, but hey, at least now you've got the Viper's spec sheet to help decide which of the two you prefer while waiting for them to arrive.
