The retailer announced today that not only will it also begin taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Note on February 5th, but that it'll be handing out a free protective flip cover case to pre-order customers upon activation of the handset as well. The Galaxy Note will be priced at $299.99 with a two-year contract and will be available on February 19th.

Sounds like a pretty good deal, especially for those of you that were planning on picking up a Galaxy Note on AT&T anyway. Best Buy announced the Samsung Galaxy Note will be available for pre-order starting Sunday, Feb. 5. All customers who pre-order the device at Best Buy, Best Buy Mobile, or online at BestBuy.com/Mobile, will receive a free Protective Flip Cover Case (value of $29.99) when they activate the phone (while supplies last). The device retails for $299.99 with a new two-year customer agreement on AT&T and will be available Sunday, Feb. 19.

The Samsung Galaxy Note has a 5.3” HD Super AMOLED™ screen providing vivid clarity for viewing videos, photos, documents, and Web sites and a new user input technology S Pen stylus making memo creation effortless. Other features include dual core processor, 8MP rear facing and 2PM front facing cameras, and 16GB memory expandable to up to 32GB with optional microSD™ card.
