Verizon experiencing network issues across the country [UPDATED]

Well, this is no good. Reports have been flying in this morning from Verizon customers across the country claiming that they're having issues with Big Red's network this morning. The extent of the problems seems to be mixed, with some folks reporting that 4G is out but 3G is fine, while others say that both 3G and 4G are being wonky, forcing them down to 1X coverage. Others still are saying that everything is A-OK in their particular part of the U.S.
So that's what's going on right now. We've yet to hear word on the matter from the folks at Verizon, but I'm sure that they're aware and working on a fix right now. We'll be sure to update you with more as we get it. Until then, you Verizon users can head on down to the comments section below and let us know how things are in your neck of the woods.
UPDATE: Verizon has announced via its official @VZWNews Twitter account that it's investigating issues with its 4G LTE network. The carrier says that 3G voice, data and text are working properly. Here's the full statement:
"VZW is investigating customer issues in connecting to the 4GLTE data network. 3G data, voice and text services are operating reliably"
UPDATE 2: Verizon has again used its @VZWNews Twitter account to update us on the outage. This time, the carrier has said 4G LTE service has been fully restored. So, is that the case where you are?
