New iPad press photo

All of the rumors and speculation can finally come to an end, as Apple today announced the new iPad at its event in San Francisco. The new iPad features the same 9.7-inch display as its predecessors, but this new model features a Retina display that packs in a resolution of 2048x1536 and has 264 pixels per inch. Under the hood, the new iPad packs a dual-core A5X chip that's capable of quad-core graphics performance. Moving around back, the new iPad includes a 5-megapixel camera with 1080p video capture, and there's also a VGA Facetime camera on the new iPad's frontside. The new iPad's software keyboard will include voice dictation.

As for connectivity, the new iPad packs in 3G/HSPA+ connectivity as well as 4G LTE support for both AT&T and Verizon in the U.S. Like the iPhone before it, the new iPad will be able to function as a mobile hotspot as long as your particular carrier supports it. Apple says that users can expect around 9 hours of battery life on 4G, while sticking with Wi-Fi will get you 10 hours of usage. All of these features are crammed into a body that measures 9.4mm thick and weighs 1.5 pounds.

Expect the new iPad to launch in both black and white on March 16th, with pre-orders starting today. Pricing remains the same as with the iPad 2, meaning the Wi-Fi models will be priced at $499/16GB, $599/32GB and $699/64GB and the 4G-enabled versions will come in at $629/16GB, $729/32GB and $829/64GB.

Meanwhile, the iPad 2 will remain on sale for anyone looking to snag an iOS slate on the cheap. The 16GB Wi-Fi iPad 2 will be priced at $399, while the 3G-enabled model will come in at $529.

Along with the new iPad, Apple introduced iPhoto for its new slate. iPhoto for iPad will allow users to tweak their photos with multi-touch editing and effects. The software will be able to work with images up to 19 megapixels in size. iPhoto will be available in the App Store starting today for $4.99. Additionally, Apple has updated its various iWork apps as well as both GarageBand and iMovie.

So there's the new iPad. Some of the rumors, like a high-res display and LTE connectivity, came true while others, like a quad-core processor, didn't. Overall the new iPad looks like a respectable entrant into the ever-growing tablet arena, and it's good to see Apple keep the iPad 2 around at $399 so that folks can still get in on the iOS tablet fun if they're unable to pick up one of the new iPads. What do you all make of Apple's new iPad? Anyone pre-order yet?

Apple Launches New iPad

New iPad Features Retina Display, A5X Chip, 5 Megapixel iSight Camera & Ultrafast 4G LTE

SAN FRANCISCO-March 7, 2012-Apple® today introduced the new iPad®, the third generation of its category defining mobile device, featuring a stunning new Retina™ display, Apple’s new A5X chip with quad-core graphics and a 5 megapixel iSight® camera with advanced optics for capturing amazing photos and 1080p HD video. iPad with Wi-Fi + 4G connects to fast networks worldwide, including AT&T’s and Verizon’s 4G LTE networks, and still delivers the same all-day 10 hour battery life* while remaining amazingly thin and light. Beginning today, iPad 2 will be offered at an even more affordable price starting at just $399.

“The new iPad redefines the category Apple created less than two years ago, delivering the most amazing experience people have ever had with technology,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “The new iPad now has the highest resolution display ever seen on a mobile device with 3.1 million pixels, delivering razor sharp text and unbelievable detail in photos and videos.”

The new iPad’s Retina display delivers four times the number of pixels of iPad 2, so dense that the human eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels when held at a normal distance, making web pages, text, images and video look incredibly sharp and realistic. The 3.1 million pixels in the Retina display are more than one million more pixels than an HD TV, and with 44 percent increased color saturation the new iPad displays colors that are unbelievably richer, deeper and more vivid. Movies are now capable of playing at full 1080p HD-resolution, delivering an incomparable viewing experience on a mobile device.

The powerful new A5X chip with quad-core graphics was specifically designed by Apple to deliver a fast, responsive user experience while supporting the incredible Retina display. With double the graphics performance of the A5 chip, the A5X provides a superb balance between performance and power efficiency so users can enjoy all the benefits of the stunning new display while experiencing a smooth Multi-Touch™ interface, immersive gameplay, incredible visual depth and all-day battery life that iPad is known for delivering.

The 5 megapixel iSight camera features advanced optics for taking stunning pictures and recording full HD video. Backside illumination allows you to take great photos in low-light conditions and a new video image stabilization feature removes the bumps and shakes typically seen when filming with a hand-held device. Images can be enjoyed on the large Retina display, then edited, enhanced and easily shared with friends and family using the built-in Photos app on iPad.

iPad Wi-Fi + 4G with built-in next generation 4G LTE has the most comprehensive support for fast networks worldwide including HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA, and now both CDMA and GSM iPad users have the ability to easily roam internationally. The world-ready iPad delivers blazing download and upload speeds so web pages load incredibly quickly and email with large attachments can be sent and received easily. Personal Hotspot can be used to share the fast network connection on your iPad with up to 5 other devices using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or USB**.

With iOS 5.1, the latest update to the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, the new iPad has a number of new features and enhancements including: a redesigned Camera app with video stabilization technology; the ability to delete photos from Photo Stream; support for dictation in English, French, German and Japanese; and Personal Hotspot. iOS 5.1 also works seamlessly with iCloud®, a breakthrough set of free cloud services including iTunes® in the Cloud, Photo Stream and Documents in the Cloud, that works seamlessly with your iPhone®, iPad, iPod touch®, Mac® or PC to automatically and wirelessly store your content and push it to your devices. When content changes on one of your devices, your other devices are updated automatically.

The new iPad also supports dictation, another amazing way to get things done just using your voice. Instead of typing, tap the microphone icon on the keyboard, then say what you want to say and the new iPad listens. Tap done, and iPad converts your words into text. You can use dictation to write messages, take notes, search the web and more. Dictation also works with third-party apps, so you can update your Facebook status, tweet, or write Instagram captions.

Apple also introduced the iPhoto® app, along with major updates to iMovie® and GarageBand®, completing its suite of iLife® apps for iOS. iLife and the iWork® apps, Pages®, Keynote® and Numbers®, have all been updated to take advantage of the new iPad Retina display. iPhoto includes breakthrough Multi-Touch features so you can use simple gestures to sort through hundreds of photos and find your best shots, enhance and retouch your images using fingertip brushes and share stunning photo journals with iCloud. iMovie now gives you the ability to create amazing Hollywood-style trailers as you record HD video, and GarageBand introduces Jam Session, an innovative and fun new feature that allows a group of friends to wirelessly connect to play instruments and record music together live on their iOS devices.

iPad runs almost all of the over 585,000 apps available on the App Store™, including more than 200,000 native iPad apps, from a wide range of categories, including books, games, business, news, sports, health, reference and travel. The iTunes Store® puts the world’s most popular online music, TV and movie store at your fingertips with a catalog of over 20 million songs, over 90,000 TV episodes and over 15,000 movies. The new iBooks® 2 app for iPad lets users experience an entirely new kind of ebook that’s dynamic, engaging and truly interactive. iBooks created with Apple’s new iBooks Author offer gorgeous, fullscreen ebooks with interactive animations, diagrams, photos, videos, unrivaled navigation and much more.

Duckit iPad is still the best.
Nathan Anthony Smith iPad is the King of Tablets. android has a long way to go!!!
Kirk Ngo Yeah right not even close
Ian Bunch No! Ipad is an easy interface(like the iphone) that a 3 year old can figure out in seconds. Its very basic and not advanced. you can custimize, no good apps that the android market doesnt have. in the end... ANDROID IS BETTER! o yeh and how many tablets does apple have...3 how many does android have.... at least 10. most likely more!
Anonymous The Apple iPad has better specs, but is un productive. Android OS is better especially when it's interfaced with touchwiz, by samsung. That's why I left my ipad.
Anonymous nothing is more fluid than an ipad
Peter Kis Galaxy Tab is definitely better.
Francisco Saucedo pricing is always the factor but i like android better
Frank Porter You ask foolish questions like this and expect peaceful discussion about it? That's a trip. Lol!
Randoll Suarez The 2nd iPad was better than them now
Frank Porter You know these types of questions only encourage name calling and fan boy flamewars, right PhoneDog? So why do it? I'm certainly not above engaging in such behavior, but few seem to enjoy having to see it. Bad move PhoneDog.
Andres Barroeta Ipad 3 is dual core with quad core vídeo card for game is still dual core stuped people , the only big change is retina display , the asus is better
Brendan McCarthy For sure, in some cases the 1st iPad beats some tablets
Wendy Lindop Yes, no android tablet can come close. apps, screen, ease of use, build quality, iCloud. Best.
Roman Keller pad 4 ever!
Paul Alexandru Much better, outdtands them all
Eduardo Ordaz Going to get the transformer prime instead. Its cool and great.
Glenn Bremner Its screen but a Tegra 3 in a Asus Transformer prime. Apple can't beat that.
Felipe Silva What kind of a fucking question is that... Lol it's like asking if Verizon is better than Metro Pcs ..
Richard Ameen Fanboy wars as usual. Just chose what you like. Android users love specs, Apple users (myself atleast) love that it always works with a balance of everything. Android users want customization over performance and simplicity, ios users, vice versa. But i think androids weak point is their tablets. They cant compete with ipad, im sorry they just cant. Everyone i play with even the good ones, need work.
Anonymous @Zack Typical dumb iFan, "new iPad"is not quad core, it is dual core with a quad core GPU. Second Android isn't buggy and shit like that, it's just dimwits like you who don't know how to use it. and last I checked, iOS crashes just as much (but without a warning because idiots like you won't realise it anyway). and if you don't shut down your iDevice for a few days the RAM starts to cram up and it starts to lag worst than Android because it doesn't have real multitasking and Task manager to control what programs you want running or not while my Android can go weeks without rebooting cos I can just clear my task manager and I'll be good to go. Besides, if iOS could do half the things Android could, I'm sure the monkeys at Apple (who couldn't even come up with a new name for the iPad) can't solve it's problems as well. Mainly why Apple only lets the user change his wallpaper only, because it isn't just easier for you, it's easier for the idiots up there as well. Lastly, we're not kids, we don't piss our pants over the latest toy being advertised on TV. We buy what's good, what is better worth for our money, not buy what is better advertised despite how crappy it is...
Mason Hartley Its personal preference, whenever you ask anyone between the two apple and android. Everyone will give you a different answer for a different reason. Unless their answer is apple because they just bought there tablet because of the apple on the back of the device.
Anonymous Hmn, funny how iFans equate high sales numbers = good. Actually, doesn't really matter, I wouldn't want dumb people using Android and giving it a bad name because they lack the capacity to use it. While you guys can keep bragging about how smooth your scrolling thru apps and sales numbers, we fandroid will just brag about everything else that matters.
Nick LaSorsa No, apple has nothing on tegra3
Francis San Pedro In terms of sales numbers, no one comes close.
Albert Chris Montinola I think the question should be.... "Will the new iPad still be expensive?" LOL!
Noel Easer Ellerbe I love how some people in this thread are bashing Android, loving on Apple, but you look at their pics and their rocking Android devices... lol.. #hypocratemuch?
Noel Easer Ellerbe I wonder if Android wasn't open source, like Apple, if my phone would continue to restart and force close on a regular basis... My guess is, probably not...
Justin Charles Reback High res, nice. Updated GPU, cool. 4:3 aspect ratio? Same old UI? Same Apple. I prefer Android. Would rather have a Prime. Android is just a lot more open and suitable for me.
Noel Easer Ellerbe I've said it once and I'll say it again... EVERY OS has its benefits and disadvantages.. That's why I use multiple... My tablet will be iOS, I run Windows on my desktop and rock an Android smartphone...
Shawn Smallwood No not even close does it compare. I would rather have the prime.
James Valentin Um hell no! :)
Nathan Allen Galaxy tab 10.1 wins the tablet war. Ipads cool but I like the galaxy tab.
Jon Jerico Calanio The only two distinct advantages of the iPad 3 are the Retina display and the quad-core SXG543MP4 GPU. Anywhere else, Android tablets can compete with or are ahead it. And regarding that cheap, plastic thing: My Transformer Prime disagrees with you.
Jiawei Mao Absolutely iPad is much more better!
Antonio Horn Still rocking my 3g xoom. What's and I pad? Can't wait for goolge 7incher. Personally I just hate the whole iTunes sync non sense.
Zach Cline Yeah the touchpad is so much better That's why it was discontinued after a few months lol.
Zach Cline I'm so tired of the stupidity that fandroids type . The new iPad is quad core along with 4G LTE with the highest screen resolution on a tablet now and of course it's still shitty. Give me a freaking break. And what is it with fandroids wanting everything to be high quality but cheap? The two do not go hand in hand Which would explain your plastic shitty android tablets . I'll tell you what mindless bandwagon sheep are- People that refuse to admit that their OS is buggy as hell and unstable , But act like every android device released every month is so amazing until the next one comes out a few weeks later and out dates it. Rant over andrones
Jerry Goldbaum Yeah, indeed. All those so called "specs" that Android tablets have have sure translated into lots of happy consumer and enterprise experiences. Wow, gotta wonder when an Executive from Samsung says, "we're not doing very well in tablets" that maybe there's something wrong with the products they are producing.
Michael Anthony Moore Anyone who buys apple products are mindless bandwagon sheep ... Your smoking crack if you think anything is new in any apple product ... Over priced hardware with a a apple on it ... So many products out now that beat this and then some and it has not even hit the shelves yet
Matt SnowPaw Dalton Nope, my TouchPad is better just because it runs WebOS along with Android. And since WebOS is the best mobile OS, well..
Malchus Callaway No need to debate the facts, in regards to specs the people who are purchasing the best android devices are getting better quality products faster than those whom are purchasing apple. Just stating facts! Dual core LTE tabs have been out for more than 5 months now. This new ipad isnt better than the Android devices unless you just prefer IOS over Android. Apple knows that the average person has no clue about LTE and dual core so they have an advantage with brand awareness and loyalty. Apple doesn't have to have the best specs, just something really trendy to keep people buying their brand. Things like Siri of course. Great tab but im sure Samsung will have a quadcore Super Amoled flexible HD screen with a projector and a option for time travel in the next couple of months lol.
Jason King Of course it's better. Stop wit these questions. Lol but seriously android can have all these little features that's supposedly makes it better but when you use an iPad you can tell the difference in apps and overall quality right away.
Jon Jerico Calanio In terms of GPU performance, not CPU. We don't even know the parameters at how Apple made that benchmark test so I doubt that performance increase is actually true.
Tony Torres @jon the a5x is faster then tegra 3!!!
Tony Torres Do people not remember what Samsung released at MWC?!!!! They released the galaxy note 10.1. The predecessor to the 10.1. And It's the same tablet with just an added pen!!!!! Get real Samsung ur tablets suck. Coming from and testing android tablets I can say the iPad is the best and most productive tablet out there!
Oscar Ruelas of course not
Jennifer Wild No Siri on iPad 3...so ”no” to buying an iPad 3.
Jon Jerico Calanio I'd give props to Apple for including the SGX543MP4 on the iPad, but it's still using the same A5 CPU - which in benchmarks, gets its butt handed over to Tegra 3's CPU in terms of overall performance.
Jay Hutchins Every iPad is better than all the droid tablets combined. Had both and it's not even a fair fight.
Jerry Goldbaum All Android tablets are a fail as their sales numbers plainly show. If it wasn't for the Fire, there wouldn't be anything really to count. The new iPad rocks in every way and the 9.7" retina will be killer.
Jourdan Fletcher wow thats it??!! 4g retina display and a moderately better camera?? Apple died with steve jobs. The Asus Prime is better and cheaper
Matthew Gonzales Landry The iPad 2 is still a ways ahead of the Android scene. The only area where Android tablets win is in the memory department, and that's only there until we can figure out if the A5X has more RAM. In short: the third generation iPad is still the best of the best (iPads in general).
Matthew Gonzales Landry @Gavin E Asemota: No, you're just wrong. First of all, the iPad 1 had a better GPU than the one found in the Nintento DS. The iPad 2 had a better GPU in than the one found in the 3DS that launch months later. This new iPad has a quad-core GPU that is most definitely the very same GPU found in the PS Vita. The reason you will never see Vita quality graphics on the iPad is because it's pushing the game spread across over 3 million pixels. By the bay, the GPU in the 3DS launched in 2005. Second, you completely ignored the fact that this resolution on such a small display HASN'T BEEN DONE BEFORE. In other words: IT'S NEW TECHNOLOGY. You also negated to mention 4G is new. Your little 1/16 faux factoid is not objective until the sales of the device are announced. That's also besides the point that just having a capable computing device capable of constantly being connected to the Internet is revolutionary in itself. Third, the battery life of iOS 5 on iPhone has nothing to do with iPad. You're ability to march off topic is incredibly concerning considering what a poor job you're doing trying to water down none-Android devices. Fourth, Bluetooth file transfer has been addressed. One can simply, wait for it, pull data from the cloud. Oh, yeah, and there is BFT on iOS, ever here of bump? Fifth, adding hard drives to tablets is going the opposite direction. These tablets have very low power processors so they rely on the quickness of SSDs to speed up the process. Plus, they're more susceptible to hardware failure. As I said, you are wrong, wrong, wrong.
Zach Flamberg Better? I think if depends on the end user's needs. If you have already invested in the apple world it might be the right device for you.
Jon Jerico Calanio My Prime has beefier guts save for the screen.
Lasan Le apples products are based on mimicry. meaning they take ideas that already exists and refines them. so everyone who says android knockoffs apple is wrong.
Jamie Doege so lets get this "new" ipad straight it has a dualcore cpu? haha.... retina display that has less PPI then the galaxy nexus? hahah... quadcore gpu? asus wins... LTE? haha... what else is "new" on this thing..
Jared Augerot I would hope so. It will be newer. Although I still think apple is over-hyped
Michael Jones That's a broad question... The iPad is better than the low end android tablets, however the high end android tablets are far superior. Just take a quick look on YouTube for Asus tf700 or transformer Prime and you'll be convinced.
Jorge El Maleante Morales My galaxy 10.1 owns anything Apple makes....
Bladimir Mora Hell yeah ipad is much much better !!! :*)
Daniel Samuels Yeah right! Same ole Crapple!
Trevor Lazar Hell no... still stuck on dual core.. when r they ever gonna keep up with the newest and best technology?
Mendez Roy Android the best my friend....I'm waiting for the new nexus tablet
Zach Brito What a big surprise, another apple product that is NOT "revolutionary"! Lol! Apple fan boys are brain dead. Lol! :-)
Michael A. Barut Currently Yes
Jason Dickman This argument's old!
Enrique Martinez Really???? Dual-Core?? Hahaha
Mc Joseph Both are good i prefer nothing¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
Ian Medina I like the the new iPad. But still, they dont meet our needs like usb storage, drag & drop, flash (eg., watch nba, ufc, wwe livestream on firstrowsports.eu, etc) yeah iPad still stuck in itunes. But if u want productivity android is still the best choice. iPad are for grannies & kids. Lol
Joe Cregan My iPad 2 screen really sucks cuz of the resolution. And I think it's almost tied with the Samsung tab and new Sony tablet, but the new iPad takes the cake
Gavin E Asemota To Reply: Android as a platform has taken first place. Mainly thanks to Samsung surpassing Apple. Apple failed to innovate. The technology they are using is already out there and being used...The graphics cpu is slightly less than what you would find in a Nintendo DS. Don't get me wrong its a good gpu but it is nothing revolutionary and not even a good selling point for most consumers...When something new is announced and called revolutionary, it is supposed to be revolutionary not based off of older technology...As far as 4G LTE connectivity it would only be responsible for maybe 1/16 of the sales compared to wifi only models. 4G or cellular data connectivity is not much of a selling point for a tablet to most consumers...Apple has not exactly been perfect like every other OS when it comes to making it OS perfect. We still have lower than average battery life on iOS5. iOS still can't do simple tasks that basic non-smartphones and the competitors can do out of the box (bluetooth file transfer just to name quick one)...Yes you can print with tablets and put a hard drive to android tablets for now. Apple may allow for it but i'm not sure.
Sam Anderson Does it run iOS? Yes? Then no, any tablet is better
Ricardo Lopez android needs more tablet apps
Jorge Ruiz What ever I can't afford any :/
Dounutz Sesar Super amoled display is still better than retina display
Nic Gruwell iPad FTW
Cesario Brito Jr. I love how phonedog baits people into these flame wars lol.
Mason Sell hell no, the iPad is almost as disappointing as the iPhone 4S (which was a laughable update to the iphone 4)
Bill Thomas This is true no android device has ever out sold any apple product
Paul Gonzalez i also think there is no way the a5x is 4 times more powerful than the tegra 3 and the fact that gizmodo reported that.....i cant think of a more unreliable source
Angelo Simeonidis really cant see anything special about the ipad from testing and testing it feels rather limited perhaps its for status saying "hey look at me i got cash!" well all i can say not impressed at all.
David Roberto Carrio Apple products are good and they hold there price. But... They are waaay over rated.
Mathew Frump iOS kind of copied android with the notification system on iOS 5.. Just sayin
Xingchi Ding It Does not matter, it will sell more than all android tablet put together .
David Roberto Carrio Apple is a fruit.
Paul Gonzalez android still supports flash its just not getting any new development and whether flash sucks or not is beside the point. html5 support is nice but the reality is many sites still use flash so for now ios users who aren't jail-broken are still not getting the full internet experience.
Mimoun Tu Rigoleras Apple ipad iphone are great but android is without limit.
Ty Johnson No Sammy got tablet with 2560x1600 Res in work, with super amoled 3D
Jidtapad Wattanabhuti for sure. not about the hardware spec but performance.
Spencer Bartholomew Hahaha Android will beat that next week
Ricky Amaro By specs not that much at all, by popularity, it's outta this world!
Dominic Jessup Reid Nooooope!! #pow
Brandon Le NEVA!!! Except the resolution. That I will have to give credit to apple.
Patrick Shirley Hell no!!!
Noel Easer Ellerbe And remember the announcement about Android not supporting Flash anymore? ;)
Jarrod Gillespie Ios beats android
Michael Schneider i think android wins again
Bill Thomas Fuck yes....all android is is a cheap knock off of iOS
Christopher Gronde Not better than transformer prime
Noel Easer Ellerbe People still bring up the Flash arguement?? Flash sucks. It's slow and it's a total resource hog.. Notice how your Android tablet draaaaaaaags when you open a Flash enabled site? Any web developer out there that wants to stay in business, codes their site in HTML5 as well as Flash to accommodate iOS users...
Mario Arias only the screen. everything else isn't
Joseph Clown-Baby Studer Regardless of personal preference, it's always been the best. It restarted the category, and is more popular and outsold any other tablet.
Eric Shayna The first generation iPad is better than anything Android out there.
Jordan Acosta The asus infinity prime is better then icrap.....
Henry Murillo Shit, the iPad 2 is waaaaaay better then any tablet lol
Sean Ryan Btw Justin you can print with tablets.lol. And Engineers like myself love tablets. They are great for references and saving paper :)
Richard Ameen Yes. Its a very good upgrade to the ipad lineup.
Jessica Parij I'm an Android girl all the way, but I haven't found a tablet I like more than the iPad. This time, I was looking for something with wireless connectivity, and the new iPad delivers with its 4G capability.
JoeNathan Villanueva It's better in performance and stability i bet. And the 5 meg camera was amazing on the iPhone 4 why not the iPad lol. And of course Retina display will be nice :). So honestly, yeah maybe it's just as good or even better then Android tablets.
Noel Easer Ellerbe Please don't hate, I still use an android smartphone and have had one since day one..
Sean Ryan No Adobe Flash, so no. Android is still better. And I'm an iPhone user.lol
Rashaud Cook People don't understand, but y'all say apple failed. But here's the thing.. Everything works and no matter what people will still buy more apple product then android
Noel Easer Ellerbe I'm ditching my glitchy, buggy Galaxy Tab 10.1 for one of the new ipads... I'm looking forward to all the apps available on iOS that, even after several years, are still not on Android...
Justin M. Houston All tablets are just silly. They're just giant smartphones on which you can't talk. You can't even hook up a printer and print out shit! What good are they? I had an Android tablet and found it to be useless...
Stian Grøtåsen I prefer my Asus transformer prime because it can replace my PC.
Jordan Acosta Android is going to be the future, and better then apple icrap....
Alfredo E. Lopez Apple has a certain simplicity to it, and Android is that wild crazy X-girlfriend that does it all & and tops it with Widgets #dontplagirize
Diego Andres Tablets Android = Marco de Photos
Rickyo ODaniell Another Apple fail. The T700 ASUS Transformer Prime has just as good of a screen, quad-core, etc...
Hansel Starley Absolutly. But then again the Ipad 2 already was the best tablet out there.
Abdullah Qaraeen HECK NO ! wait for galaxy tab 11.6 with res of over 2500*1600 :P
Jordan Acosta Nopeeeee
Dave Yaeck Honestly, the only plus to the New iPad is the Retnia screen. Other than that I was not impressed at all.
Gavin E Asemota Well the Asus Transformer Prime is still the best tablet on the market for now. I thought apple would do better but they didn't really come out with anything that isn't already out there already.
Daniel Cuadrado Depends on witch OS you like to use. It's the best for the IOS fans.
Marc Marcus Well it's kind of like buying a Hyundai, when you want a Lexus. Like the Hyundai comes with all the same stuff as the Lexus, Some better features as well.. But on the Lexus its much more polished lol
Ethan Shrago Hell no.
JFella James Stringfellow im sticking with my ipad 2
Durvelle Greene of course apple makes amazing products.. Android fAns
Michael Miller Screen resolution. Otherwise they're touting yesterday's tech as today's groundbreaking technology. 5mp camera, lol welcome to 2008. I can't wait to see some jackass at the beach taking pictures with an ipad.
Matthew J Callaway Ipad blows!!!!!
Joseph Alan Richardson Pfft. What a stupid question, of course not. Apple fans can have fun with their locked OS and silly rules while i'll have fun doing everything and anything I want on Android.
Naga Appani Both are two iCraps...
Tabib Rehman It dont matter if its better people will automatically buy anything with an apple logo
Kyle Cordiano Android does kick ass, but that screen resolution is going to be epic.
Eric Alvarado FOH ipad Up Android KKkKk
Rey Gonzalez android is coming out with something better then any OS :D
Lewis Hachmeister Screen. That's all.
Arnulfo Barajas thants not even a question!
Steve Griffith anything apple will never be better than android
