HTC EVO Design 4G Sprint

Following a report from earlier this month that claimed that the HTC EVO 3D will soon be making its way to Virgin Mobile, a new rumor has surfaced alleging that a different HTC-made handset on Sprint will be heading to one of the Now Network's prepaid brands. A source speaking to Pocketnow says that the HTC EVO Design 4G is headed for Boost Mobile, and that a release could happen before the end of this quarter. The site also claims that Boost's EVO Design 4G will feature Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as well as mobile hotspot support.

This news, if true, is pretty exciting for Boost Mobile customers. The EVO Design 4G packs a 4-inch 960x540 touchscreen, 1.2GHz single-core processor and 5-megapixel camera, and it should become one of Boost's most high-end handsets when it hits the carrier's shelves. The addition of ICS, which HTC has said the EVO Design will be receiving, will also be welcome. We still don't know the Boost EVO Design's exact launch date or how much it'll cost when it hits, but if you're a Boost customer looking for a new handset, you may want to hold off for this one.
