HTC One S Walmart

The HTC One S may not officially be launching on T-Mobile until Wednesday, but it appears that at least one Walmart just couldn't wait any longer to let the handset loose. A reader by the name of Mike happened to spot the One S sitting out at a Walmart store, complete with a $198 on-contract price tag. That's just a hair cheaper than the $199.99 price that T-Mobile will be asking for the One S once Wednesday rolls around.

This isn't the first time that we've seen a T-Mobile handset pop up at Walmart a few days ahead of its official launch, and although not every store will have the One S sitting out early, it could be worth a shot to swing by your local Walmart to check things out if you've been planning on picking one up. Just don't forget to give us a heads-up if you get lucky, though. For those of you that'll either have to wait until the 25th or are still on the fence, good news! Last week our own Aaron Baker unboxed the One S and filmed the whole thing to provide us with a peek at HTC and T-Mobile's latest. You can find the video embedded below for your viewing pleasure.

Thanks, Mike!
