Just a little under two weeks after we got a peek at official renders of the BlackBerry Curve 9320, RIM has made the new Curve family member officially official. Specs for the 9320 are similar to what leaked way back in January, meaning you're looking at a 2.44-inch 320x240 display, 3.2-megapixel shooter, 512MB RAM/ROM, 1,450mAh battery, and BlackBerry 7.1. RIM also touts the 9320's dedicated BBM key, which allows users quick access to the BlackBerry Messenger service.
Obviously the Curve 9320 isn't going to be fighting the Bold 9900 for the title of "King of the 'Berrys," but RIM isn't setting the device up to try and do that, saying that the 9320 will be popular with "customers upgrading to a smartphone for the first time and existing Curve customers looking for a step up in speed and functionality." As for when the Curve 9320 will be launching, we're told that more information will be announced in conjunction with RIM's partners. If the 9320 and its dedicated BBM key (which is actually user customizable) sounds like it'd be up your alley, stay tuned for more.
