Yesterday was the day that the five carriers that'll offer the Samsung Galaxy S III here in the U.S. decided to share some availability details, including when some of them will begin accepting pre-orders. Now it's Best Buy's turn to take part in the Galaxy S III announcement fun. If you'd like to pre-order a Galaxy S III and pick up a few video games or new television at the same time, or would just prefer to do your smartphone shopping at Best Buy, the retailer has announced that today it began its pre-sale of the Galaxy S III. Best Buy is accepting orders for AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon's models of the device, and the pre-sale is available at all Best Buy stores and the 334 dedicated Best Buy Mobile locations.
We're not ones to complain about having another option when it comes to pre-ordering a shiny new smartphone, so it's nice to see that Best Buy is taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S III. The retailer's pre-sale is kicking off on the same day as Sprint's but is actually a day earlier than AT&T and Verizon's, so customers on the latter two networks can get an early jump on reserving a Galaxy S III over those using the carrier stores. Best Buy today launched a pre-sale of the Samsung Galaxy S III, across three networks – Sprint, AT&T and Verizon Wireless. The pre-sale is available in all Best Buy big box locations and the 334 Best Buy Mobile standalone stores across the country.
The Samsung Galaxy S III features Android™ 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), has a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED™ touchscreen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5 GHz dual core CPU and 2GB of internal RAM.
