Nokia today announced a new update for the Lumia 900 on AT&T. The update contains a handful of enhancements that Nokia says address some of feedback it's been getting from Lumia 900 owners since the handset launched back in early April. This bug fixing update will remove the purple hue that has appeared on the screen of some devices while being used in low light situations. Also included is an improvement to the sensitivity of the Lumia 900's proximity sensor and "other minor adjustments and enhancements."
So when can you get your mitts on this purple hue-eradicating update? The more impatient Lumia 900 owners out there will be happy to hear that the new software is available right now and can be downloaded by plugging the handset into your computer and running either Zune for Windows or Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac, depending on which operating system you've got. I'm sure Lumia 900 owners are glad to see another update make its way to their handsets, especially considering that it will eliminate that pesky purple hue that could appear on their display. If you've got a Lumia 900, fire up your updating software, plug that phone in and get to downloading! Just remember to come back when you're done to tell us about it, alright?
