AT&T's 4G LTE network is growing again, as the carrier has announced a handful of markets that are seeing new or expanded LTE coverage today. All of these new and expanded markets are located along the eastern portion of the U.S., with Florida is seeing the most new AT&T LTE service. Here's how the full list of today's AT&T LTE expansions breaks down:

New markets

  • Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and West Palm Beach, Fla.
  • Worcester, Mass.

Expanded markets

  • Baltimore, Md. (includes the counties of Baltimore and Anne Arundel as well as Ellicott City)
  • Washington, D.C. (includes the counties of Montgomery and Prince George's, Northern Virginia)
  • Boston, Mass. (includes MetroWest, North Shore and South Shore areas)

With today's expansions, AT&T says that its 4G LTE network now covers a total of 51 markets. It's always good to see the big blue carrier adding more markets to its LTE footprint, especially major ones like Miami, but we're also glad to see coverage in existing markets get expanded.
