HTC One X+ with T-Mobile branding reportedly photographedAlex Wagner - Deputy Managing Editor, News Desk
We've been hearing rumblings about an unannounced device referred to as the HTC One X+ for a few months now, but today the handset has finally shown its face in a leaked photo. The shot, posted by @evleaks on Twitter, shows a device that looks similar to a regular One X, but this phone features T-Mobile branding on the top of its face. Unfortunately, no other details about the One X+ were posted with this image.
According to previous rumors, the HTC One X+ is a refreshed version of the One X that launched earlier this year, complete with a Tegra 3 processor. The One X+ was said to be headed to T-Mobile here in the U.S., a claim that's seemingly backed up by the branding in this newly-leaked shot. However, the One X+ was nowhere to be found in a recent T-Mobile roadmap leak, even though it had appeared in a similar document around a month before, and our pals at TmoNews have said that the phone was unable to pass testing and may not make it to Magenta's shelves. For now we'll just have to ogle this image and hope that the One X+ can eventually find its way to T-Mobile and give those customers another high-end Android option. Any of you T-Mo customers think you'd be interested in the One X+?
