Earlier this month, Best Buy slashed $100 off of the price of the Samsung Galaxy S III for one day only, giving interested customers the chance to buy one of Samsung's newest smartphones on the cheap. There's good news today for anyone that may have missed out on that sale, as Best Buy is doing it again. Today only, the retailer is dropping the price of the 16GB Galaxy S III by $100. The sale looks to be open to both new customers and upgrades, and is available at Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores as well as the company's website.
The Samsung Galaxy S III began making its way onto U.S. carriers this past summer. Since its debut, it's become one of the more popular Android smartphones on the market, and it's doing pretty well for itself in PhoneDog's Official Smartphone Rankings. It's also worth noting that the Sprint model began receiving an update to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean yesterday, and the other U.S. Galaxy S III models are due to get the same update in the coming months.
