HTC Desire C now available from Cricket with Android 4.0Alex Wagner - Deputy Managing Editor, News Desk
Remember the HTC Desire C? This diminutive Android handset was first introduced by HTC back in mid-May with a 3.5-inch display and Android 4.0, and now it's found itself a place on Cricket's shelves here in the U.S. Cricket today announced that the HTC Desire C is now available both online and in Cricket stores with a price tag of $179.99, though the carrier's website is currently offering the phone for $149.99. The Desire C feature list is as follows:
- 3.5-inch HVGA display
- 5-megapixel camera
- 4GB microSD card
- 25GB Dropbox storage
- Beats Audio
- Muve Music
- 1,230mAh battery
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich beneath HTC Sense 4.0
The Desire C follows the One V, which arrived in early September, as HTC's second smartphone in Cricket's lineup. With a price tag that shouldn't put too much of a hurt on a customer's wallet, the Desire C looks like a device that could be worth consideration for Cricket folk in the market for an affordable, entry-level smartphone. Cricket's full announcement of the Desire C is available for your perusal below.
