Apparently the HTC DROID DNA leaks are coming out of a spigot that's unpluggable, because we've got two more tidbits of information for you this morning. First up, images of the DROID DNA have surfaced once again courtesy of @evleaks. The renders show both the front and back of the device, and also included are all of the usual markings and buttons that we've come to expect from the DNA, including the centered power button on top of it and some various HTC and Verizon branding.
Today's second leak comes directly from Verizon's website. Moseying on over to Verizon's DROID Does page reveals a teaser that says that the "the new DROID is coming" and, after clicking it, users are presented with information for a "DROID DNA Unboxing" that's set to take place during a Google+ hangout (with us) on Monday, November 19. The DROID DNA also appeared on a Verizon support page late last month.
The HTC DROID DNA is one of the more oft-leaked handsets in recent memory, appearing in both "in the wild" images and in renders as well as being the subject of multiple rumors. Expected to be a Verizon-ized version of the HTC J Butterfly, the DROID DNA's spec sheet will reportedly include features like a 5-inch 1920x1080 display, quad-core processor, 4G LTE connectivity and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Thankfully, HTC and Verizon are scheduled to hold an event on November 13 at which the DROID DNA is expected to be unveiled, so it shouldn't be much longer before we've finally got the official low-down on the newest member of the DROID family. Stay tuned.
UPDATE: As noticed by Robert Orr in the comments, one of Verizon's posts on its Google+ page mentions that the DROID DNA unboxing will be taking place "on 11/19 – the day before it launches," seemingly confirming the November 20 release that's been rumored since last month. A shot of the Google+ post is available below.
