HTC and Verizon are teaming up this morning in New York City to unveil their latest collaboration. This is a DROID event, make no mistake, so it's expected we will see the rumored DROID DNA, a 5-inch phablet with a 1080p display, become official. The event is set to start at 11:00 AM Eastern, so stay tuned and we will bring you the news as it happens, liveblog style!

Okay, things are slowing down a bit. We're being pitched some Sense 4+ features. Nothing mind blowing … yet.
Ultra-wide angle lens on the front, just like the 8X and 8S.
f/2.0 lens, ImageSense with the dedicated ImageChip. What you see is what you get. The front camera also has 1080p and f/2.0 lens.
And Sense 4+, like we'd heard.
Wireless charging in DROID DNA, as well as Jelly Bean – 4.1, not 4.2.

"Like any super car, DROID is all about performance." It has the quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip. "Graphics in this chip are 2X better than any other chip out there."
The back of the phone curves to an edge that is less than 4mm thick. Components are stacked like a pyramid to make the phone thinner.

It's 50% brighter than the Galaxy S III. Not sure that's a great thing.
