HTC EVO 4G LTE Jelly Bean 3.15.651.16 update

Looks like the rumors were true. Several HTC EVO 4G LTE owners are reporting that they're now downloading the 3.15.651.16 update for their handsets, which includes a bump up to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. The update weighs in at 396.78MB, and according to Sprint's update changelog, included is HTC Sense 4+, improved browser performance, enhancements to Google apps like YouTube and Gmail, and a better gallery. Sprint's full changelog is as follows:

  • WiFi authentication Improvement
  • Personalized ringtones
  • Calendar event description hyperlinks and calendar reminder improvements
  • Addition of Sprint Connections Optimizer
  • Upgrade to Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) with HTC Sense 4+
    • Improved browser performance
    • Face Unlock improvement
    • Application improvements to YouTube, Google+, Gmail, Maps, and more
    • Improved camera including Auto Portrait and Sightseeing Mode capabilities
    • Improved gallery with ability to display photos and video albums according to when or where taken
    • Tap and Go function to connect the phone to select Beats Audio speakers
    • HTC Get Started support to allow device set up from a computer

Sprint says that updates may be released in stages, but yesterday's leak mentioned that customers could initiate the Jelly Bean goodness themselves today, so it might be worth trying a manual install if you've got a EVO 4G LTE lying around. This can be accomplished by going into Settings > System updates > HTC software update > Check now. Be sure to give us a shout in the comments below once you get Jelly Bean up and running, EVO 4G LTE owners!
