T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II update rolling out on Dec. 19, Multi-Window feature included
@PhoneDog_Alex

Heads up, T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II owners, because you've got an update coming your way that you may want to keep an eye out for. T-Mobile revealed today that a new update for its Galaxy Note II will be released on Wednesday, December 19, which will feature the Multi-Window functionality that hit the Sprint model last month. Multi-Window allows a user to run and interact with two apps from a selected list on the screen at once. Here's the full changelog from T-Mobile for the Note II's upcoming software bump:
Android version 4.1.1 / Baseband version T889UVALK8
Launched December 19, 2012
Improvements
- New multi-window feature
- Resolves Exchange calendar events not appearing on device Calendar
- Resolves issues with being unable to swipe through Gmail messages
That's a fairly brief list, but many T-Mobile customers have been jonesing for Multi-Window support since the Note II's launch, so I'm sure that that's the only tweak that many folks care about. T-Mo says that the T889UVALK8 update will be made available both over the air and through Samsung's Kies software, so Note II owners will have their choice of update method once Wednesday rolls around. To check for a OTA update on the Note II, users must go into Settings > About phone > Software Update. How many of you are rocking a Galaxy Note II on T-Mobile?
