Today the calendar flipped over into 2013, which means that T-Mobile's Zero Down Sale has officially come to an end. T-Mobile customers looking to save some cash on a new smartphone can still do just that, though, as the magenta operator is currently holding a web-only sale on the Samsung Galaxy S III. The 16GB model is available for $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, while the 32GB version is priced at $149.99 after mail-in rebate. Free shipping is included with all four units. The promotion is set to run through Jan. 3.
The Galaxy S III has been discounted multiple times in recent months, but it's good to see the sales continue. Samsung's flagship handset is still one of the highest-ranked Android handsets in PhoneDog's Official Smartphone Rankings, and this latest promo gives T-Mobile customers a chance to pick one up if they've missed previous sales or have some newly-acquired holiday cash. Sure, it may be kind of a bummer to some that buyers will have to wait for their rebate, but at least those folks will have a shiny new smartphone to keep them busy during that time.
