Well CES 2013 in Las Vegas has come and gone.  New devices were announced but unfortunately for us smartphone lovers, a lot of the big phones are not coming to the States anytime soon.  So the movement on the Official Smartphone Rankings for the people and the experts might remain the same for the new next few weeks.  Check out what these three experts have for their top five.

Not much going on the past week in the world of mobile phones, but you can be sure this next week will be packed with some exciting announcements, as CES is just around the corner. The iPhone 5 is my top phone, and my daily driver. iOS is fluid, easy to use, and has the best app selection (yes, Android is catching up in terms of quantity, but not quality). Google's newest offering with the Nexus 4 is not a bad choice either at number 2, even taking some design cues from the iPhone 4/4S (glass back, anyone?). Many complained about the iPhone 4 because of its glass back, yet here is Google (and LG) doing the same thing.

The lower 3 all stayed the same as well, with the DROID DNA, the 8X, and the Note II. All phones are great, and have their own pros compared to others. The DNA has its gorgeous display which really is unmatched alongside some awesome specs. The 8X is my favorite of the Windows Phone devices, mostly because of its design which feels great in hand. The Note II, of course, as that giant screen that so many seem to love. It isn't my favorite, but the rest of the features make it a worth while device.

This week I'm continuing with the holiday deals for 2012 as no new cutting edge devices are being released until after CES Las Vegas.

The Note II remains on top of my list due to its tech specs, s-pen, and s-voice. Droid DNA is a close second with its amazing resolution and also fast processor. One X+ follows behind as it does not have a much RAM or as good of a resolution as the DNA. LG's Optimus G for Sprint is great due to its 13mp camera and also packs a quad-core processor, and finally the Lumia 920 rounds out my top 5 with its wireless charging capabilities!
