Samsung's Galaxy Note II has been doing pretty well for itself lately in PhoneDog's Official Smartphone Rankings, where it's currently sitting atop both the People's Choice and Experts' Choice lists. Verizon Wireless customers that are interested in seeing what all the hubbub is about now have the perfect opportunity to do so, as Amazon is offering the Titanium Gray version of Verizon's Note II for just $149.99 for new customers and $189.99 for existing subscribers. The Marble White version of the Verizon Note II is also being discounted by Amazon, with pricing set at $199.99 for both new and existing customers, though that version is currently backordered.
Verizon is currently asking $299.99 for both the Titanium Gray and Marble White flavors of its Galaxy Note II, so Amazon is offering some pretty steep discounts on the S Pen-equipped phone/tablet hybrid. The Galaxy Note II features a 5.5-inch 1280x720 display, 8-megapixel rear and 1.9-megapixel front cameras, 16GB storage, 4G LTE connectivity and a 1.6GHz quad-core processor. There's also a large 3,100mAh battery powering the whole package. For anyone that may be on the fence about throwing this 5.5-inch handset into their virtual cart, I've embedded Aaron's unboxing and hands-on with the Verizon flavor of the Note II below. How many of you are currently rockin' a Galaxy Note II? If you are, what do you think of it?
