Another day, another AT&T 4G LTE expansion. Today the big blue carrier announced that its LTE service has been activated in a few new locales and that the coverage in some existing LTE areas has been expanded. Here's how the list of markets announced so far breaks down:

New LTE service

  • Albany, Ga.
  • Dalton and Calhoun, Ga.
  • Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Portsmouth, Va.

Expanded LTE coverage

  • Cecil County, Md., including Elkton, North East as well as the I-95 and northeast regional high-speed train corridor
  • Bucks County, Pa., including Doylestown and Chalfont
  • Montgomery County, Pa., including Hatfield, Montgomeryville and Lansdale

Looks like there's quite a bit of AT&T 4G LTE love going around on the East Coast today. AT&T's LTE network has been available in over 100 markets across the country since late 2012, and the carrier expects to have 250 million people covered with the service by the end of 2013 and 300 million by the end of 2014. Are any of you AT&T folk surfing the newly-activated LTE airwaves this morning?
