"The best Android phone you can buy" By DAVID IN on February 17, 2013
With the Nexus 4, Google and LG have really outdone themselves. The 4.7-inch screen is the perfect balance between screen real-estate and pocketablility. Battery life has been amazing in my experiences, I easily get 16 to 18 hours a day with moderate usage. As sexy and amazing the design of the phone is, the glass backing worries me. With the Galaxy Nexus' plastic backing, I was allowed to use it without a case and feel completely comfortable that way, but I can't have that same peace of mind with the glass back on the Nexus 4. I'm using the Nexus 4 on t-mobile and reception has been decent. I occasionally lose signal when I go to the suburbs, where my college campus resides. I blame this on t-mobile, not the Nexus 4, seeing that other t-mobile phones also lose signal in the same general area. The lack of a micro SD card slot, removable battery, and LTE might turn others off though. Honestly, 16 GB is more than enough for me with Google Play Music and Google Drive as reliable options. The battery life on the phone is already amazing, so I don't need to constantly switch out batteries like I did with the Galaxy Nexus. The lack of LTE doesn't bother me one bit. I never used LTE on my Verizon Galaxy Nexus because of the battery drain and t-mobile's speeds are fine for me. All in all, with the price Google is asking for the Nexus 4 and what it delivers, the Nexus 4 is a must buy in my book.
