AT&T rolls out more new and expanded 4G LTE coverage [UPDATED]
AT&T's 4G LTE train keeps on rolling today, because the big blue carrier has announced that its LTE network has been activated in a couple of new markets and expanded in some others. AT&T announced today that its LTE coverage is now live in Lincoln, Neb., and Lubbock, Texas. Additionally, it has expanded its existing LTE footprint in the following areas:
- Hartford County, Conn.: Now includes portions of Avon, Bloomfield, Enfield, Farmington, Granby, New Britain, Simsbury, Suffield, West Hartford, Windsor and Windsor Locks.
- Phoenix, Ariz.: Now includes parts of Avondale, Goodyear and Litchfield Park.
Today's LTE expansion isn't exactly the largest we've ever seen from AT&T, but we've already seen the carrier spread out its LTE network on multiple occasions in the month of February, so at least AT&T subscribers know that their operator is rolling out new and expanded LTE service on a fairly regular basis. So, are any of you located in one of the aforementioned areas with fresh AT&T LTE coverage?
UPDATE: AT&T just announced that it's spreading its 4G LTE network to even more areas today. According to AT&T, its LTE service is now live in Marble Falls, Burnet, Bertram and Round Mountain, Texas. AT&T also says that its existing LTE coverage in Corpus Christi, Texas, has been expanded to include parts of Port Aransas, Mustang Island, Portland, Gregory, Odem, Five Points, and Bluntzer.
