Virgin Mobile Awe officialLess than a month after adding the waterproof Reef to its lineup of Android smartphones, Virgin Mobile has quietly snuck another ZTE-made handset onto its shelves. This time we're looking at the Virgin Mobile Awe, an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean device with a no-contract price tag of $99.99. Here's what buyers can expect in exchange for their hard-earned $100:

  • 4-inch WVGA display
  • 1.2GHz processor
  • 5-megapixel rear, 1-megapixel front cameras
  • 4GB storage, 1GB RAM
  • 3G connectivity
  • Android 4.1
  • 1650mAh battery

Obviously that's not exactly a high-end spec list, but for just $99.99 without any sort of commitment, it's not exactly surprising to see that the Virgin Mobile Awe is a pretty entry-level handset. Having more options is always a good thing, though, and that's exactly what the Awe will be for consumers in the market for a new Virgin Mobile phone that'll be easy on the wallet. If you count yourself among that group, you can check out the Awe for yourself by hitting up the Virgin Mobile link below.
