Sprint HTC One max

After officially teasing the impending launch of the HTC One max twice in the past month, Sprint today finally came clean with its release plans for the aluminum-clad giganto-phone. Sprint has announced that it will begin sales of the HTC One max starting this Friday, Nov. 15, with pricing set at $249.99 with a two-year contract. Consumers can also pick up the One max through Sprint's One Up upgrade program for $25 per month.

Revealed earlier this year as the "phablet" of the HTC One family, the One max sports a 5.9-inch 1080p display that's considerably larger than the 4.7-inch screen found on the original One, which is also sold by Sprint. The One max also boasts a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, 32GB storage, Android 4.3 with HTC's Sense 5.5 overlay and a 3,300mAh battery. Support for Sprint's LTE network is in there as well, and the big yellow carrier also revealed recently that the One max will receive an update to be compatible with the new Sprint Spark tri-band LTE network technology, which combines three bands of LTE spectrum to offer faster speeds and increased capacity.
