Verizon HTC One max official

Looks like the Nokia Lumia 2520 isn't the only newcomer to Verizon's lineup today. The big red carrier is now selling the HTC One max, Samsung Galaxy S III mini and Galaxy S4 mini on its website, simultaneously building out both ends of its Android smartphone size lineup. Here's how the pricing breaks down for each of the new handsets:

  • HTC One max: $299.99 with a two-year contract, $25.22 per month on Verizon Edge, $599.99 full retail
  • Samsung Galaxy S III mini: $49.99 with a two-year commitment, $10.56 per month with Verizon Edge, $249.99 full retail
  • Samsung Galaxy S4 mini: $99.99 on contract, $16.81 per month on Verizon Edge, $399.99 full retail

Save for the Verizon tattoos on their faces, these three devices all look fairly similar to their international counterparts. That means that the HTC One max is packing a 5.9-inch 1080p display, 32GB storage and Android 4.3 along with HTC Sense 5.5. Meanwhile, Samsung's Galaxy S III mini pairs a 4-inch Super AMOLED display with 8GB storage and Android 4.2.2, and its Galaxy S4 mini sibling offers a slightly larger 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen, 16GB storage and Android 4.2.2.

Verizon hasn't said much of anything official regarding any of the devices in this trio outside of confirming that it would sell the One max and Galaxy S4 mini, so it's kind of a surprise to see all three phones pop up on the carrier's website this morning. There's not many better surprises than a fresh batch of new phones on a Thursday morning, though, so I'm not going to complain and I'm sure that Verizon customers aren't going to either.
