Looks like Sprint has decided to end 2013 with a bang. The big yellow carrier has announced that its 4G LTE network is now live in an additional 70 markets, including major locales like Madison, Wis.; San Diego, Calif.; St. Louis, Mo; and Fargo, N.D. The full list of newly-activated markets is available at the bottom of this post.

With the addition of these new 70 cities, the Sprint LTE family consists of a total of 300 markets across the country, which is a pretty nice jump from the 58 LTE markets that Sprint had back at the start of 2013. Sprint promises that it plans to continue going "full steam ahead" with its network upgrades in 2014, which include rolling out 3G and LTE coverage on its 800MHz spectrum for improved in-building data and voice coverage as well as the continued expansion of its Sprint Spark tri-band LTE service.
