Poll: Who got the better deal?

Published: February 2, 2014

Big news this week! By now I'm sure most of you have heard about the Lenovo's acquisition of Motorola Mobility. The Chinese company sealed the deal with Google by agreeing to pony up $2.91 billion, and it looks like Lenovo plans to utilize the Motorola brand in order to grow their own mobile efforts. It may seem that Google took a big hit with this deal since it purchased Motorola Mobility for about $12.5 billion back in May 2012, but Google is holding onto a majority of Motorola's patents as well as its advanced research unit. So while Lenovo is acquiring a highly recognizable brand, Google isn't simply losing out on nearly $10 billion. What's more, it sounds like Motorola fans still have future devices to look forward to. With all of these details of Lenovo's Motorola acquisition in mind, we want to know who you think walked away with the best deal? Be sure to vote down below!
