Samsung Galaxy NotePRO

There's some good news today for budding artists that are seeking a large digital canvas on which to unleash their creativity: Samsung's 12.2-inch Galaxy NotePRO is now available for pre-order in the U.S. Office Depot has kicked off its pre-sale of Samsung's new giganto-tablet, asking $849.99 for the privilege of bringing a unit home. Samsung hasn't yet announced a launch date for the NotePRO 12.2 yet, but Office Depot says that the device will be released on Feb. 13.

The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is one of the larger Android tablets that we've seen to date, sporting a 12.2-inch 2560x1600 Super Clear LCD display. The good news is that that high-res display isn't the only reason for the NotePRO 12.2's premium price tag, as the slate also includes 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, 64GB of internal storage, 3GB RAM, an Exynos 5 Octa processor and Android 4.4 KitKat.

Obviously the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2's large size makes the device a little less portable than some of the other tablets on the market, but for folks that love to draw or take notes using Samsung's S Pen stylus, that 12.2-inch screen could be pretty enticing. If that sounds like you, then go on ahead and hover your cursor over the Office Depot link below and then click in the button. And for those of you that are on the fence about whether or not you need a large tablet in your life, you can check out our hands-on video with the NotePRO 12.2 below.
