After highlighting the HTC One's BoomSound speakers and metal unibody construction in the first two "Technical Translations" videos, HTC selected its UltraPixel camera
as the star of the third clip. In it, we're told that the One's UltraPixel camera captures 300 percent more light than the shooters found on other high-end smartphones. The scientist then pulls the "new HTC One" out of his pocket and talks it up while both the device and his mouth are pixelated and his voice his distorted.
HTC hasn't made any official announcements regarding the features of the follow-up to its One flagship, but the rumor mill has suggested that the device could sport two rear cameras
. However it's not known exactly what HTC will do in order to take advantage of these dual shooters. It certainly looks like HTC will once again utilize its UltraPixel camera and its low-light performance as a tentpole feature of its new device, though.
The new HTC One is slated to make its full, unpixelated debut at an event on March 25. Until then, you can check out episode 3 of "Technical Translations" below.
