Remember those rumored Shared Data allotment increases that were rumored for U.S. Cellular this week? Turns out that the original leak was legit, as U.S. Cellular today confirmed that the changes are now live. Here's how the refreshed offerings break down:

  • 300MB for $15 per month
  • 1GB for $40 per month
  • 2GB for $50 per month
  • 3GB for $60 per month

All of those plans include unlimited talk and text plus tethering support, and U.S. Cellular has said that any existing customers on the old Shared Data plans will be bumped up to the larger allotment. The carrier also launched a new single line plan today that includes unlimited talk, text and 1GB of data usage for $60 per month. All of the new plans are currently available on U.S. Cellular's website.
