Hey AT&T customers, how would you like some piping hot 4G LTE coverage to help you get over this hump day? Sounds good, right? Well AT&T's got what you need, because the big blue carrier has announced that its LTE service is now live in a handful of U.S. cities and that the network has expanded in some existing coverage areas. Here's where the newly-lit service is located:

New markets

  • Yuma, Ariz.
  • Eureka, Calif.
  • Elkhart-Goshen, Ind.
  • Traverse City, Mich.
  • Ogdensburg-Massena, N.Y., (includes Lisbon, Massena, Norfolk, Ogdensburg, Rensselaer Falls, Waddington and Routes 37, 56 and 812)
  • Plattsburgh, N.Y.
  • Wenatchee, Wash.

Expanded markets

  • Reno, Nev. (now includes Truckee and Grass Valley, Calif.)
  • Sweetwater, Texas (now includes portions of Merkel, Tye and Abilene)

Seems like a nicely scattered list of U.S. cities, no? It's always good to see a carrier expanding its LTE footprint, especially when consumers in all parts of the country get a taste of the freshly-activated wireless service. So, are any of you located in one of the new or expanded AT&T LTE markets? If so, how's the network treating you?
